Experience Through Their Eyes

Ran across this little place just per chance several years ago. Stopped because the sign says Best Hotdogs In Town! Found this to be the truth. Now we drive 45 minutes one way to get a great hotdog and a cold Nehi peach drink. Told my old retiree buddies about it and we now meet there several times a year for breakfast. Love the owners/staff here. If it were closer I'd eat here every day.

Everything I've ever eaten here is delicious, my favorite being the hotdogs. With chili so good it would make Memaw's mouth water and leave her with envy. Oh and goodness forbid, don't let her try the biscuits at breakfast cause it'll for sure leave her feeling like less of a woman. To add to the delicious food, the place is spotless, I believe THE cleanest I've ever eaten in. You can see the pride and love the owners pour into this place. The service is amazing and just feels like home. And all at very affordable price, which is unheard of these days. A great place to stop in for breakfast, lunch, or early supper.

The sign says "best hot dogs in town". I'm not exactly sure who their town competitors are for hot dogs, so I went in to find out just how good they are! Well, they are great!!!! This is rounded out with a perfect blend of charm, atmosphere, and service!

This is a great place to stop on a drive through the area, or to become a regular if you live within striking distance. It was super clean, and the staff is helpful and friendly. No cash? No problem. They take plastic. They also have a cash tip jar, if that's your preference. There were quite a few people at the tables around us who stopped in from their workday for lunch, which is always a good sign, plus a couple or three retirees at the lunch counter, swapping tales. A steady stream of customers gave us the chance to gawk at their beautiful hot dogs, salads, and sandwiches for eat-in or to-go orders. There was ample parking available. Bonus: The food is good. We tried the bologna sandwich (oh, what a slab of bologna!) and a cheeseburger with mustard, chili, and onions, with Napoleon Dynamite grade tater-tots on the side to top it off. All were hot, fresh, and tasty, and they kept our iced-tea cups filled the entire time. It's not a Michelin restaurant; it's a small diner. Therefore, we rated it high because it touches all the bases for exactly what a small diner should do: Provide reasonably-priced, great tasting food quickly in a friendly, safe, clean environment. We will hit again, when we're in the area. Or, we might be in the area just to hit it again--maybe breakfast next time!

Great hotdogs and hot fresh fries. Mom "owner" and daughter gave great service. Has a nice country store atmosphere. Great stop on a bike ride or a trip to a camp. Can't wait to try the breakfast.
